Business activities and scope
BombProof Diesel (BPD), operated by Flip Connect LLC, provides in-shop and mobile diesel diagnostics, mechanical repairs, reliability upgrades, fuel-system installations, maintenance, aftermarket parts, paid virtual technical assistance, and select used powertrain sales. These general terms describe our service and sales policies. The signed estimate, invoice, virtual-support order, or bill of sale identifies the specific services or products actually purchased.
Authorized installation services
BPD services may include fuel filtration and lift pumps; CP3 or DCR conversions when appropriate; injectors and fuel-system diagnostics; cooling and transmission upgrades; intake, exhaust and charge-air repairs; electronic diagnostics; and emissions-system maintenance or compliant repairs. Parts and calibration offered for EPA-certified vehicles must be suitable for their lawful application. Any customer work order requires its own written authorization, including approval for diagnosis, disassembly, road testing, and additional repairs.
Paid virtual diesel technical support
BPD offers scheduled remote consultations for diesel troubleshooting, diagnostic scan interpretation, parts selection and compatibility, installation planning, and support for lawful repairs and upgrades. Sessions may use phone, video, photos, scan data, or screen sharing. Fees, session duration, cancellation rules, and follow-up scope are disclosed before payment. Virtual advice is based only on the information available remotely, is not a hands-on inspection, and cannot guarantee a diagnosis or outcome. Customers or their on-site technicians must safely perform all physical work and confirm torque specifications, lifting precautions, electrical isolation and vehicle condition.
Limits on remote assistance and third-party technicians
BPD may refer customers to independent parts manufacturers or technical specialists for lawful product assistance, but each provider is responsible for its own stated services and warranties. BPD will not provide, arrange, or sell remote guidance whose purpose is to defeat required emissions controls on an EPA-certified highway vehicle or motor-vehicle engine. Having a customer upload software or using a foreign technician does not independently make an otherwise prohibited modification lawful. BPD may stop any session involving unsafe conditions or a requested prohibited modification.
Competition-vehicle projects and restricted-use products
BPD may consider parts or support for genuine, purpose-built competition vehicles and qualified engines where the specific transaction is lawful. Before accepting a restricted-use order, BPD may require vehicle/engine identification, donor provenance, chassis classification, racing use and event documentation, and a description of intended modifications. Texas has a limited state-rule exemption for certain legally sanctioned motorsports under 30 TAC §114.21, but that exemption does not supersede federal law. Labeling a part “race only,” removing a vehicle from registration, or placing an engine in a different chassis does not automatically authorize tampering with a previously EPA-certified highway engine. No restricted item is approved solely from a website statement.
Salvage engines and complete dropout powertrains
BPD may sell legitimately acquired salvage engines and dropout packages, such as engines with available transmissions, harnesses, computers, accessories and related components, for rebuilds, replacement projects and qualified competition applications. Each listing should disclose its known condition, included and excluded components, source vehicle/VIN or engine serial number when available, and any known missing emissions hardware. Lawfully acquired, unmodified donor packages may be marketed without promising that every intended swap is street legal; buyers must separately verify the legality of the destination vehicle configuration. Sale or delivery of a powertrain is not approval to delete emissions equipment.
Previously modified or “deleted” powertrains
BPD does not treat separation from a salvage or donor vehicle as permission to remove or disable a highway-certified engine’s required emissions controls. BPD will not intentionally remove required emissions hardware merely to prepare a former road engine for sale as a race-only dropout. A previously modified or emissions-incomplete powertrain may be considered for an individual as-is transaction only after a documented legal review confirms that the particular sale and intended use are permissible under all applicable laws. No such product should be advertised as universally street-legal, exempt, or approved simply because it lacks a chassis or title. BPD may decline any listing, service or sale.
Emissions compliance and legitimate repair
Applicable federal, state, and local law may prohibit the manufacture, sale, installation, or use of defeat devices and the removal or disabling of emissions controls, including DPF, EGR, SCR/DEF, catalysts, sensors and related software. Legitimate diagnosis, maintenance, cleaning, replacement and qualifying temporary overrides performed for repair are distinct from permanent defeat. Where legally required, an EPA-certified motor-vehicle engine must retain a compliant emissions configuration even if taken from a disabled or salvage truck. BPD and customers each remain responsible for their own legal obligations; no waiver transfers those obligations.
Preexisting condition, used parts and compatibility
Used engines and vehicles may have unknown mileage, concealed internal damage, prior tuning, contamination, rust, previous repairs or missing components. Photos, compression data, run videos and inspection notes describe observed condition at the time checked, not guaranteed future performance. Specific testing, included components and any disclosed defects will appear on the item listing or work order. BPD will not guarantee a donor engine’s fitness for a particular chassis or racing class without an express written agreement.
Mechanical installation and remote-use risks
Repairs and upgrades may affect operating temperature, fuel pressure, airflow, drivetrain loads, service intervals or compatibility with other components. BPD does not guarantee increased power, fuel efficiency, mileage, engine lifespan or freedom from subsequent failures unless expressly agreed in writing. A remote consultation does not make BPD the installer of customer-performed work; nevertheless, nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that applicable law imposes for BPD’s own negligent advice or service.
Parts supply, product and workmanship warranties
Customer-supplied or third-party parts can be defective, incomplete or incompatible. BPD may decline an unsuitable installation. Manufacturer warranties and BPD’s separately stated workmanship warranties are governed by their applicable written terms. Used cores, complete dropout packages and competition components may have different written warranty terms than new replacement parts. No “as-is” designation disclaims liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
Shipping, payments and returns
Each transaction will state the purchase price, required payment, packaging or freight arrangements, delivery/pickup responsibilities, core charges if any, and any applicable return policy before payment. Used powertrains must be supported by appropriate provenance and a bill of sale. Customers are responsible for communicating destination chassis and application details accurately; BPD remains responsible for truthful listings, lawful sales and any obligations imposed by applicable law.
Testing, authorization and limits of liability
BPD may conduct static operation checks, diagnostic scans and road tests only when specifically authorized and lawful. Additional work requires customer approval. To the extent permitted by law and the relevant signed agreement, BPD may limit recovery for certain remote or unforeseeable consequential losses. Nothing here excuses fraud, negligence, defective workmanship, bodily injury, unlawful activity or nonwaivable rights. The applicable signed work order, service contract or bill of sale controls the individual transaction.
Customer agreement and application review
BPD invoices, support bookings and work orders specify the particular item or authorized service. A signature acknowledges disclosed conditions; it does not determine whether a competition exemption applies and does not immunize either party from emissions law. Restricted-use products and modified donor engines are offered only after individual compliance review. Public website terms alone do not authorize work, remote tuning or a sale.
Sample service / powertrain transaction acknowledgment
Use with a separately itemized estimate, virtual support order or donor powertrain bill of sale. This page does not collect data, charge customers or transmit signatures.
Competition product compliance: Restricted-use parts and previously modified motor-vehicle powertrains require individual compliance review before BPD offers a transaction. This page does not establish an exemption from applicable emissions laws. Effective October 27, 2026.
